Who we are
Memorium is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@photoexperts.art.
What we collect
Your name, email address, mobile number and city; the photographs you upload of your items; the details of your order and payment; and the messages you exchange with us.
The contents of your media
We necessarily process the content of the recordings you send us. Home recordings can reveal sensitive things — health, religious observance, political views, and images of children. We treat all of it as confidential, we do not view more of it than the work requires, and we never use it for any purpose other than producing your files.
Why we may lawfully do this
Principally to perform our contract with you. We rely on your consent for SMS updates and for any marketing, and you can withdraw that at any time.
Who else sees it
The supplier digitising your media sees your job code and your items — never your name, phone number or address. Each supplier works under a written data processing agreement. We also use processors for payment (Stripe), email, file storage and SMS.
Where it is held
Our database and file storage are hosted in the European Union.
How long we keep it
Your files remain downloadable for the period shown on your order, and we hold an archive copy for a further period so that links can be re-issued. Order records are kept as long as Cyprus tax law requires. After that they are deleted.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to processing, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to us and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
